Today, Daniel took me to my second spa experience ever…and this one was on a boat! In the background, apparently there as apartment buildings that are considered ‘iconic Montreal,’ so we gazed from the hot tubs on the deck into the city. Not too shabby.
Today, I revisited the Chalet at Parc Mont Royal with Eiko. I was last here in November 2012, with Glynis and Daniel. Sometimes, it’s nice to see the things I like again, even if it isn’t new.
Several hours of my day have been spent walking in the rain, looking down at the sidewalk while puddles accumulate in the cracks. I haven’t biked for more than a few miles for the last two days. As is my routine in most cities I have visited, I have been spending my time intentionally off-bike.…
It is the first day of no rain and all sunshine in a long time, so Eiko has been sleeping all day. Poor lady!
It’s unbelievable, but I’m in Montreal. For that, I say thanks. Above is me with Eiko, who rode me into my final destination city, and Daniel, who brought me home.
Last night, we camped on an island beach. We made a big beach bonfire and kept warm, despite the low temps. This was our spot this morning. Today, we cross into Quebec!
